St. John's has active youth groups for children and teens. Each of the following groups advertises events and meetings. Youth and families participate on fellowship and service activities.
YLOGS (Young Learners of God)
Children in Grades 3rd - 6th. They have devotions, craft activity and play games.
Confirmation Class
is for youth in 7th & 8th grades. They do activities according to their studies. Some activities they do: Souper Bowl Sunday - they collect money for Carroll County Food Sunday or The Shepherd's Staff. They go on retreats like Youth Quake.
SHYG (Senior High Youth Group) (9th grade thru age 20)
is for youth in senior high school and young adults. They also plan activities like minature golf, pool parties, lock-ins, etc. Service and mission trip projects round out the activities.
