Confirmation Class At St. John's we welcome 7th and 8th Graders to enter into a journey of learning about their Baptized membership in the Body of Christ. We seek to make strong disciples for Jesus through our emphasis on community, prayer, Bible learnings, and service to others. We study the Small Catechism, written by Martin Luther. This document covers the basics of our Christian faith: The Ten Commandments, The Apostles Creed, The Lord's Prayer, Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, the Office of the Keys and Confession.
It is our hope and prayer that when these young people affrm their faith in the Risen and Living Lord Jesus that they have a new dedication to Jesus and His Church. As confirmed members of the church, these young people will be welcomed into leadership roles, voting membership and invited to share their faith with others.
